As ocean lovers here, we spend a lot of time watching and talking about underwater movies.
If you haven’t seen “Racing Extinction” yet, it’s a good idea that you watch it. Director Louie Psihoyos (who also directed “The Cove”) has put together a team of journalists, photographers, science experts and adventurers in order to convey a very clear message: the human impact on our planet is getting heavier and heavier by the minute. Climate change and species extinction are only a couple of the consequences of the activities of the human race on Earth.
The movie includes beautiful footage of mantas and sharks, some of it shot in Indonesia. It also conveys a very strong and clear message of hope: all of us can have an impact on this situation, by changing the way we think and act in our everyday life.
So if you haven’t seen it yet, you should!
