Details

During the Divemaster program on Lembongan and Penida, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises in our beach front pool, as well as training exercises that increase your ability to organize and solve problems on stunning dive sites.

You put this knowledge into action through a series of practical training exercises with the guidance from our highly experienced instructors. You will be expected to help out like a member of staff, as well as complete dive theory, assist the instructors, give dive briefings, guide certified divers, make a map of a dive site, demonstrate skills to students and much, much more. We also dare you to try and not have the time of your life.You have UNLIMITED diving for the duration of the program.

Must be at least 18 years old, have logged a minimum of 40 open water dives prior to the course, have current training in CPR and be a PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent.

As a PADI CDC centre contact us for how you can start your DM program with as little as 20 Dives.

PADI Rescue

Theory, pool and open water dives

The PADI Rescue Diver program develops your knowledge and skills so you can confidently and effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level and will develop you into a more self-reliant diver. Although this course is challenging, many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken!

Training includes theory sessions, skill training, and realistic scenario practice. Skills include assisting a panicked diver, dealing with an unconscious diver, missing diver searches and providing emergency oxygen.

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver program you must have successfully completedEmergency First Response (EFR) or a similar sanctioned program in CPR within the past 24 months, or take it with us at any of our dive centres.

(Must be at least 12 years old and hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certificate or equivalent)

he Emergency First Response program is a basic medical first aid course which covers training for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Rescue Breathing, Emergency First Aid and Secondary Care. 

As one of the foremost international CPR and first aid training companies, Emergency First Response gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies — not just in the diving world, but in your everyday world with your family, friends and coworkers.

You will learn the skills required to deal with everything from electrical accidents, to road traffic incidents and diving emergencies. The course is approximately 6 hours and includes a video, theory and practical application sessions.

This first aid program is a pre-requisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course, but can be completed at any time during your training and is also available to non-divers.

Here at Blue Corner Dive we teach you additional skills of emergency oxygen administration and how to use an Automated External Defibulator (AED) which are now common in airports, hotels, and shopping centres.


Advanced Open Water

During the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course you will complete 2 core dives: deep and navigation, plus an additional 3 Adventure dives of your choice – such as drift diving, fish identification, underwater naturalist, peak performance buoyancy, search & recovery, or underwater photography.

This course is a great way to improve skills already achieved in the Open Water Diver course, while expanding your certification level as a diver. It will broaden your knowledge and enable to you dive to 30 metres, which will open up a whole new world of diving! The Advanced course is often taken soon after the completion of the Open Water certification, and allows new divers the opportunity to advance their techniques under the supervision of a PADI Instructor.


Open Water

The PADI Open Water Diver course is a three to four day program earning the diver an internationally recognized license. After completing this course you will be certified to dive to 18m, qualified to join dive trips and scuba dive all over the world. The course is usually completed in 3 or 4 consecutive days or scheduled to your convenience.

During the PADI Open Water Diver course you and your PADI diving Instructor work through five pool dives, five knowledge development sessions, and then four open water dives to earn your certification. If you’re in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water, you can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.
