Life After the PADI Women’s Day Scholarship

A scholarship with Blue Corner Dive

After receiving Blue Corner's PADI Women’s Day Scholarship, my journey has taken me to Gili Trawangan, where I’m currently working as a Divemaster. Every day here feels like a new chapter. Guiding dives, meeting amazing people from all over the world, and sharpening my skills both underwater and on land.

Working in the dive industry has opened my eyes to so many sides of ocean life, not just the beauty of marine ecosystems, but also the teamwork, safety, and connection that diving brings. It’s been an incredible opportunity to grow more confident, adaptable, and aware of how much there is still to learn.

While I’m fully embracing this Divemaster life, my passion for marine science remains strong. I’m still open to opportunities that combine diving with scientific research or conservation work, projects where I can contribute both my diving skills and my academic background.

For now, I’m enjoying this process of learning, sharing experiences, and being part of a community that deeply cares about the ocean. The scholarship truly opened a door for me, and I’m excited to see where this path will lead next.
